Ceiling-tpye ERV: THE AUSTIN, Kowloon

 

The owner has installed an energy recovery ventilator in their overseas property and has requirements for the quality of life and air.  The owner is particularly pursuing a quiet environment. We chose and designed, and  to reduce the noise during operation to the level of a library environment. Since the apartment was already at the stage of being able to move in during the project, our team covered all the furniture with dust cloth and accelerated the work. In the end, it only took four days to complete.

The case unit has a mountain view and a quiet and peaceful environment. The apartment was deeply affected by seasonal changes. In spring, there is often heavy fog and humidity. In summer, there are mosquitoes and insects. In winter, it is affected by strong wind. The compromise is to close the windows but no ventilate. To solve the problem, the owner found us to plan for his home, which allow to close the windows isolating the impact of the season and keeping the indoor room air circulating.

The bedroom window faces the road. Opening the window will be affected by dust and noise. However, the owner has no plan for renovation in the short term. His original plan was only to install a window-mounted ventilator. After site visit, a mini energy recovery exchange system can be installed in the false ceiling. Since the owner is still living in the unit, our team accelerated their work and finally completed it in only three days.

The owner has installed an energy recovery ventilator in their overseas property and feels that their quality of life has improved after installation. The owner has high requirements for air quality, so in addition to general filtering functions, they also specially choose a model with air disinfection filtering function to disinfect and filter the air introduced from outside before supplying it to indoor rooms.

The case unit is located above the bus terminal and is close to major highways.

It is easily affected the indoor air quality due to PM2.5 and other emissions when opening window. Hence, the owner requested an energy recovery ventilator during his planning. The ventilator supplies 24x7 fresh purified air and also recovers indoor temperature. With full house false ceiling decoration, the whole system can be perfectly hided.

Window-type Ventilator：Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom

For rooms with only one window that cannot achieve convection; or if there is an alley/courtyard outside the window with poor air quality, there is a solution!

The room is only about 80ft2 with one window facing a building courtyard with poor air quality. The owner also worried about insects entering the house but there are no plans for renovation in short term. So, to improve air quality, they chose to install a window-mounted vemrtilator to block pollutants and insects, and let filtered fresh air into the room.

Window-type Ventilator：Yuet Wah Street, Kwun Tong

Building on Yuet Wah Street are densely packed. It is difficult to achieve ideal ventilation for a family. Moreover, noise of the road greatly affects living environment. 

To isolate the noise and maintain fresh air supply, the owner has reserved a space for installing window-type ventilator when planned for renovation. In result, the machine fits perfectly. It blocks noise and pollutants, allowing filtered fresh air supply to the room. 

Wall-mounted ERV: School, Tuen Mun

There are some unpleasant odors during work. The installed exhaust fan didn’t help a lot.

If additional fans are installed, air-conditioning will be seriously lost and cause energy wasted.

To avoid affecting daily operations during the semester, wall-mounted energy recovery ventilators had installed with an activated carbon filter. It helps to remove indoor odors and introduce filtered fresh air, and even over 60% air-conditioning is kept. The machine achieves the function of ventilation and energy save at the same time.
